The PCPA Conservatory
PCPA Pacific Conservatory supports a unique, fully accredited vocational training program at Allan Hancock College for aspiring actors and theatre technicians. It is the only training program, with an Equity theatre company with fully integrated community college Career and Technical Education programs, in the country. PCPA has trained over 10,000 students in a program of practical and experimental training in the fields of acting and technical theater.
Actor Training
Students at PCPA receive mentorship from professional artists in the studio, in classes, in one-on-one tutorials, and in the context of producing PCPA’s professional Equity productions.

Technical Theatre Internships
PCPA offers technical theatre internships in multiple areas of theatre. PCPA’s mentor-apprentice approach to training provides unique experiences with theatre professionals both resident and guests. As an intern you will be training directly with professionals in their respective fields.
