Based on the book by Tomie dePaola
Book and Music adapted by Leo Cortez
Music Arrangements by Jake Cannon

Available:

Monday - Friday

January 28 - March 15, 2019

Grades K-8
Oliver Button doesn't like sports. Oliver Button prefers to use his imagination by dressing up in costumes, drawing pictures, and making science fiction movies in his attic. But Oliver finds his true calling when he enrolls in a tap dancing class, and it hurts his feelings when other boys make fun of him for being a dancer.

One day, he finds that someone has written "Oliver Button is a sissy" on the schoolyard wall. Despite this teasing, Oliver enters a local talent show with the hope of winning first place and gaining his schoolmate's acceptance.

Will Oliver win the talent show and put a stop to the teasing? Or will he come in last place and face more ridicule and bullying? This musical adaption of Oliver Button is a Sissy is an inspiring story about a boy who stands up to bullies by staying true to himself.
