Teaching Philosophy
Training through practice. That was the theory of education that served me well as a student and has deepened my work as a professional. Technical Conservatory training at its core is hands-on, learn-by-doing instruction. The opportunity to collaborate substantively in large-scale productions is the kind of participation that builds confidence, skills, and agency.
As an instructor, I believe in providing an environment where curiosity, inspiration and determination compel students to set and achieve their own goals. A student’s path to seeing their contribution on stage is filled with opportunities to learn. I want to make sure they are proud of what they see.
