Position: Director of Development

Salary: $85,000-$90,000 annually

Position Summary:

PCPA seeks a results-oriented and dynamic person to join our senior leadership team. The Director of Development plays a crucial role in PCPA by guiding the development department. The department leads the organization’s fundraising efforts, including creating, implementing, and maintaining strategies for fostering and sustaining public and private support. The incumbent guides the direction of targeted giving initiatives, including interfacing with current donors as well as identifying and soliciting new funding opportunities to meet and exceed fundraising goals. The Director of Development collaborates with other department heads, Allan Hancock College, and the PCPA Foundation in expanding the donor base sourced by analyzing data of patrons of PCPA and translating the data into action. Some evening and weekend work are required.

PCPA covers 100% of health & dental insurance premiums. Benefits include 10 paid days for the holiday break, 10 paid days of vacation per year, 9 paid holidays and 8 paid days of sick time. The successful candidate is required to relocate to the Central Coast if currently out of the area.
