Position: Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (a part-time, temporary, nonexempt position) is responsible for selling tickets in-person, by telephone and through mail, using a computerized ticketing system and handling the ticketing processes. The Customer Service Representative is a primary communication link between the company and the community at large and it is essential to project a courteous and professional manner.
This role is 10 hours per week primarily in the Solvang Box Office. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Employment starts preferably by end of April 2024 until September 9, 2024. Training will be at the Santa Maria box office.
PCPA -Pacific Conservatory Theatre includes limited amount of complimentary and discounted tickets to PCPA productions.

Position Summary:
PCPA – Pacific Conservatory Theatre seeks a highly skilled artist and committed educator to serve as a resident Musical Director. We seek a Musical Director with a vision for the next generation of theatre makers and a passion to impart the best theatrical traditions and to set new standards of excellent artistry, ethics, and professional practice for the future.
The Musical Director (one of two) is responsible for supervising the musical aspects of assigned productions of musicals and plays with music; assesses musical needs, participates in budgeting, contacts and contracts musicians and conducts/runs orchestra sessions. As a resident, the Musical Director is a member of the Acting faculty teaching Singing Techniques, Musical Theatre Ensemble, basic musicianship and related topics as assigned in the two-year actor training program. The Musical Director can also serve in other creative capacities (e.g. director, actor, composer) for productions as mutually agreed upon with the Artistic Director/Dean.
PCPA covers 100% of health & dental insurance premiums. Benefits include 10 paid days for the winter break, 10 paid days of vacation per year, 9 paid holidays and 8 paid days of sick time. These are continuing full-time, year-round positions. The successful candidate is required to relocate to the Central Coast if currently out of the area.
