PCPA tours a 50-minute literacy based production to local schools.  Funding is supported through Children’s Creative Project. This year’s Outreach Production Tour «Breaking Through» will occur in the fall of 2022.

Conservatory students bring books to life by using their speech and voice skills to read children’s books to local elementary school students. This program is designed to promote the excitement of reading by bringing English and Spanish books to life through the talent of our Conservatory students. This program reaches over 5,000 students in one day!

Young People Projects (YPP) instruct children ages 9 to 18 in the basics of performing including singing, acting and dancing and culminates in a showcase of the children’s projects.

PCPA’s weeklong workshop for children ages 9 to 16. This bilingual workshop creates theatre in the Teatro tradition that will affirm the importance and dignity of the local Latino experience.

PCPA offers complimentary programs for our productions.

These pre-show talks inform our audience members on the history and production elements of the show.

These post-show discussions involve an audience Q&A with cast and crew members. Always an interesting insight into the creative process.
