Joe Gallina

Bio: Joe Gallina, PCPA Class of 2003, couldn’t be happier to be back at his Alma Mater as Assistant Director/Puppetry Director for Little Shop.  Off-Broadway credits include Ogre Puppeteer in Gotham Chamber Opera’s El Gato con Botas directed by Moisés Kaufman, and Laws of Motion at PS-122.  Regional Theater:  Connecticut Rep, Utah Shakes, Geva Theatre Center, Artist’s Rep, Hope Summer Rep, and three summer seasons here at PCPA way back in ancient times.  At Connecticut Rep, he had the pleasure of playing the titular role in Macbeth, and the veritable pleasure of being directed by Paul Barnes.  Joe holds an MFA from the University of Connecticut, and volunteered in Haiti with Clowns Without Borders in March of 2010.  A playwright as well, Wildfire, based on the events surrounding the Cedar Fire, one of the worst natural disasters in San Diego’s history, premiered in his hometown of Julian in 2013.  His most recent acting adventure, A Touch of the Blarney, a collection of Irish poetry, music, and one act plays, was conceived and directed by novelist, producer, and screenwriter, Don Winslow.  Thank you Mama and Papa for everything!
