History

Since its founding in 1995, PCPA Foundation has been wholly dedicated to the raising of funds to support PCPA. The Foundation board is made up of dedicated professionals and philanthropists who work throughout the year supporting PCPA.

Achievement

The PCPA Foundation is proud to have established the PCPA Endowment Fund. With current assets of approximately $4.5 million, the Foundation’s goal is to grow the Endowment Fund to $10 million. Annually, 5% of the endowment is distributed to PCPA to supplement current operating funds received from Allan Hancock College and from other donations. As the Endowment Fund grows, the 5% grows proportionally.

Mission

With a simple mission “to ensure the future of PCPA,” we invite you to come alongside us with your generous gifts via planned giving, legacy gifts, monthly contributions, or one-time gifts to the Endowment Fund. Additionally, contributions toward PCPA Foundation’s operating expenses support our activities to grow the Endowment Fund.

Artistry

PCPA is the only resident, professional theatre company on the Central Coast. Since 1964, the company has produced nearly 650 mainstage productions while graduating over 6,250 students.

Training

PCPA’s conservatory is an intensive two-year training program. Through a challenging blend of studio and shop work, showcases, and mainstage productions, PCPA’s resident artists mentor each student in preparation for a career in professional theatre.

Legacy gifts are among the most touching displays of support we receive. Through the vision of hundreds of generous benefactors, the PCPA program has flourished for over fifty years.

Along with donations, anyone supporting the PCPA Foundation can pledge a gift through a:

  • Bequest
  • Charitable Trust or Annuity
  • Insurance Policy
  • Retirement Fund
  • Corporate matching of charitable donations

We invite you to speak with your legal or financial advisor and ask how you might ensure the future of PCPA with a planned gift; the following information will help with your generous support.
