Erik is absolutely thrilled to wrap up PCPAís Talkback Series with our newest Resident Artist, Eduardo Enrikez. Eduardo will be joining PCPAís resident company in October to teach first year Acting in the Conservatory and as an actor on PCPAís main stage. Audiences will see him in "The Secret Garden," "Mother Road," "Into the Woods," "The Sound of Music," and "Native Gardens." Born in Mexico, Eduardo is an award winning trilingual actor. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and French. He comes to us from LA where he has a very successful film, TV, commercial, and theatre career, yet he has worked and trained internationally. He studied with the prestigious Surrey Institute of Art & Design, and he has his Masters of Art in Musical Theatre from Londonís Royal Academy of Music. He has West End and UK credits as well as credits in Mexico, Paris, Geneva, and with some of the most respected theatre companies in the US such as The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Goodman, South Coast Rep., and Arizona Theatre Company. Eduardo is also a writer and composer. He just finished workshopping his new musical "Ilcahuilia" which is a love story set during the Mexican American war, and he wrote the title song for the animated movie "Sabel," opening in theatres next year. Erik canít wait to talk with Eduardo about working internationally, his journey from theatre to film to writing, and shaping the future of the American Theatre.
