Fade
By Tanya Saracho

Lucia is a bundle of nerves on the first day of her new job writing for a major TV show. As a Mexican-born novelist, the whispers of "diversity hire" and an all-male cutthroat Hollywood writer's room aren't helping. Lucia is questioning if she's even up for the job until she meets Abel, a Latino janitor. As their friendship and connection grow, so does Lucia's confidence and her work begins to draw attention and accolades. But the cost of connection is unexpected in this comedy, about class, culture, and the question of "who gets to tell your story?"
Advisory: some adult language and drinking.
